Steel drag chains generally consist of the following parts:
1. Replace cheap wool, fillers or auxiliary fillers with linings formed by extruded nails. This method can ensure that the stranded wire structure will not be scattered.
2. The outer sheath made of different improved materials has different functions, has anti-ultraviolet function, anti-low temperature function, oil resistance and cost optimization. But these outer sheaths have one thing in common, that is, they are highly wear-resistant and will not stick together. The outer sleeve must have high flexibility and also support.
3. Using optimized weaving angle, the shielding layer is woven tightly outside the inner sheath, which reduces the EMC protection ability, and the shielding layer will quickly fail due to the breakage of the shielding. The densely woven shield layer also has a torsion resistance.
4. Conductor structure. The stranded wire drag chain should choose the softest conductor. Generally speaking, the softer the conductor of the steel drag chain, the better the elasticity of the cable, but if the conductor is too thin, entanglement will occur. A series of long-term tests provide the best diameter, length and pitch shield combination of a single wire with the best tensile properties. The structure of the steel drag chain must be wound around a stable center of pulling force with the best transfer pitch. However, due to the use of insulating materials, the stranded wire structure should be designed according to the state of motion, starting from 12 core wires, because of the use of bundled stranding.
